We had a great time in Iowa! We were able to spend Easter with some of our dearest friends and lots of good food. We even found time to get in a photo shoot of their three beautiful girls. I hope you enjoy them. Their dad broke out the trampoline in the cold and the rest is history...

We had the privilege of photographing Billy at one week. He was so wide awake and well behaved. What a beautiful baby! We will be following him around his first year, so keep checking in...
Sarah and I took a trip up to Jean's Bridal in Wilmot, SD. We've heard they're the place to go to find your wedding gown, and after seeing the selection they have, we know why. Sarah's been in the wedding gown industry for the last three years and was excited to see that they carried Maggie Sottero, one of her favorite designers.
We had the opportunity to meet Cora, the owner, and her daughter Jessica. We appreciated that they took time out of their busy Saturday to chat with us.

I took advantage of a wonderful snow covered Saturday off. Our little boy loved the ride... he got off easy. It's quite a change being here where the snow actually stays around for more than a few hours.
The other day, while driving home, I saw this beautiful sunset. But of course, I didn't have my camera with me... I made it back in time to catch it before it was gone. Enjoy!
We really enjoyed our time in Montevideo, MN. We spent most of it with Milestone Studio enjoying a cup of hot cider and cookies and chating with the three ladies who run the operation, at their Open House. We discovered their studio has a wonderfully trashed upstairs great for portraits, or a period piece that we might attempt at a later date, if Lisa is so gracious to let us up there again. We also discovered the most beautiful little flower shop called Petal Park on Main Street. I felt like I should be downtown Seattle or something. Overall, we had a great time getting to know more of the people from the Midwest. We'll post some pics as soon as we have a free moment.
We are getting ready to go visit Milestone Studio,a photographer we met a few weeks ago at a SW Minnesota Photography group meeting. They're having a Premier Event this evening, it should be a fun time!
We had a great time with baby Braxton and his parents. He was only 18 days old! What a little miracle! We love to photograph the moments in life and there is no better opportunity than a brand new baby. I think the most exciting part of the shoot was when Braxton, being naked and all, decided to "wash" daddy's sweater. They sure do keep you on the ball...
We will be following Braxton through his first year of life, so be sure to check back in a little bit to see how he's grown.
Well, I've decided to begin my blog with our relocation to South Dakota from Southern Oregon. We've been getting settled in here on the lake. It's been super cold since arriving here, nothing over 40 degrees.
On the business side of things, February 24th we had a booth at the annual Wedding Show in Aberdeen, SD. We had alot of interest in our wedding photography. We are booking weddings into September and have brides in 2010 looking at booking.
